The Drum Broker at hiphopdrumsamples.com just announced the Unkemtp Breaks Kit ready for download. These original breaks were recorded thru a SSL Duality board. The sound quality sounds amazing and I’m ready to dive in myself. The breaks look like they were recorder at a professional studio with expensive gear. I can hear the warmth of the sound from the youtube video. The Unkempt Breaks was processed with avalon and universal audio gear and actually I was sitting here in envy wishing I had 5% of gear I saw in the video.

The cool thing about breaks is that you can make a whole track sound alive. Most of the time I chop breaks up and get busy laying down a beat. Breaks from records are my favorite way to get my drums.
