[fresh_divider style=”dotted”]

Akai and Retronyms released iMPC for iPhone for $2.99 only for a limited time. Now you can make beats on your iPhone on the go. The iMPC app for iPhone has a feature called 3D Perform which uses the iPhone motion sensor to add unique performance with the app. I don’t have an iPhone to test out but I wondering how the app looks in person. A pocket sized MPC might be what you’re looking for. Check out what Akai and Retronyms has to say.

Is that a MPC in your pocket?

The legendary drum machine sampler is now available for iPhone – all the power of the iPad app with a few surprises tossed in. Crafted specifically for iPhone and iPod Touch with our friends at Akai Professional, iMPC for iPhone captures the classic MPC workflow and sound in a wonderfully tiny package. Find a friend to high five—for the first two weeks you can get it for the introductory price of $2.99

Pint-Size Power

Defying the notion that bigger is better, iMPC for iPhone jams more than 1,200 samples, 50 editable programs, and 80 editable sequences into a pocket-sized recreation of the iconic MPC. Workflow is everything. We’ve obsessed over the perfect blend of classic and new to make beat production quick and easy. Everything from built-in effects to time correction and note-repeat to a powerful sampler that allows you to create custom sounds using the built-in mic, line-in, or your music library.

Another Dimension

Take the classic MPC workflow, add a healthy dose of spatial awareness, and the result is the exciting new 3D Perform mode. Manipulate parameters using your iPhone’s motion sensor for unparalleled levels of expression and sonic deliciousness.

An Army of Beat Producers

If a beat drops in the middle of nowhere does it make a sound? Join the thousands of creators already using iMPC on iPad to share, collaborate, and listen with CloudSeeder — powered by SoundCloud.
