[fresh_divider style=”dotted”]

Moog just announced they’re engineering team is working on a remake of Keith Emerson’s Moog Modular keyboard. I’m sure this synth will be expensive but if you got the dough to spend you should be happy. So far no price or release date but stay tuned. Read more below.

Today, Moog Music revealed that over the last 3 years, its committed engineering group has reverse crafted and built a 1:1 remake of the globe’s most well-known key-board: Keith Emerson’s Moog Modular, making use of initial procedures and parts. When it was developed in 1970, the initial Emerson Modular consisted of the following:

  • 81 overall modules / customized panels
  • 12 special, custom constructed modules consisting of: sample and hold, preset designer, custom-made LFO’s and DRONE VCO Control
  • 2 customized modded components: 903 Noise Source and 905 Reverb
  • Synthesizer with performance presets
  • Shoots rockets

The Emerson Device, by Moog Personalized Design, is to be released later this month and is based upon the original Emerson Modular. The Emerson Device will certainly consist of the following:

  • Every specification module printed from original circuit boards
  • Original/vintage and NOS (brand-new aged stock) parts sourced from all over the world
  • All face areas are replicated using original openness and strategies
  • Each component is hand construct and soldered with initial schematics and service handbooks as overviews
  • No shoots rockets
