Creature “Sore Eyes” Feat. Vordul Mega

Creature just announced a new song called “Sore Eyes” featuring Vordul Mega from Cannibal Ox. This song has emotion with nice synth sounds emanating from the DSI Mopho. I’m proud to say I provided the production for this song. Shout out to Creature for letting me bless the track. Read more below.

Creature, is back with Torn Together, after taking 4 years off to pursue his rock career. Having actually recorded with luminaries throughout different genre’s, like Bad Brains’ H.R., MF Doom, Prefuse 73 and also Slug, , he’s been called a rap artist’s rap artist. The cd is another flare sent up revealing that NYC, once more, is the throne of the world of hip-hop’s underground.

The set is remindful of the very best of the late 90s and also very early indie hip-hop, instilled with hints of contemporary sound pallets as well as production appearances. Preservation (Ka, Yasiin Bey) in charge of the bulk of the album’s production lends his refined yet unsafe sound to the dangerous defining region secure for Creature and his guests to create chaos with minimal damage to outsiders tipsy on years of weak rap.

Visitor producer Noble Dru provides a synth-operated vessel for Creech to trade barbed wire whip slashes with Vordul-Mega (of the reanimated Cannibal Ox) on “Sore Eyes”. Kool A.D. a longtime Rebelmatic advocate appears on the deep-fried soul of “Warhol’s Wig”. Homeboy Sandman drops in to show love to the underground by joining Creature on a “Rollercoaster” of true school drum patterns scantily clad in ghostly organ riffs.

Words play is obvious. The production is loop tyranny of the highest hip-hop order. This is a New York rap record … that appears like a New york city rap record.

Creature, the kid from Corona a lot more lately lauded for thrashing his locks at packed rock shows went back into the booth and also done great.
