MSXII is a sound design team that has consistently released kit after kit of dopeness. The team always release big kits and sometimes small specialty kits like Beatbox Kit. Beatbox Kit is literally what it says. The kit is filled with folders of beatbox loops at different tempos and patterns. I had the pleasure to review the kit so without further ado, here we go.
The Beatbox Kit consists of folders of beat box patterns in wav format. Each folder has different tempos so the user knows what tempo the wavs in the folders are. This makes it simple for beat makers to know what they’re working with and to save time. Also, each pattern has change ups and fills so if you decided to use loops, everything is laid out for you. There is a bonus folder with hits instead of loops so you can program your own patterns. The Beatbox samples were recorded with a Neumann Mic and studio grade converter.
Conclusion
The Beatbox Kit is a good filler kit to add a little spice to your productions. You could just do a beat from scratch with Beatbox Kit and add music on top. I actually chopped up a pattern and made my own hits. The choice is yours. This is a good kit to add to your library of sounds. You can never have enough sounds. Check out video.
