Akai released another update to address some minor issues. At least they are really supporting the Ren and Studio. Here is what they have to say.
Version 1.3.1 (March 2013)
This release addresses some minor issues in version 1.3:
◾ Newly loaded projects play at the correct tempo.
◾ Fixed issues with MPC 5000 import.
◾ Fixed issues with sample audition from file browser.
